BOY SCOUTING
Boy Scouting, one of the traditional membership divisions of the BSA, is
available to boys who have earned the Arrow of Light Award and are at least 10
years old or have completed the fifth grade and are at least 10, or who are 11,
but not yet 18 years old. The program achieves the BSA's objectives of
developing character, citizenship, and personal fitness.

Remember the following for your Board of
Review:
Be absolutely sure that all the requirements for the rank have been met,
including the right number and type of merit badges, troop activity
participation, service project hours, etc.. Complete all sections of
your scout handbook and bring it to your SMC and BOR.
Complete your scoutmaster conference (SMC) prior to the BOR. Contact a
scoutmaster to set up a time.
Review the requirements of the rank and be prepared to discuss them. Be
prepared to discuss the merit badges earned for the rank.
Review the Scout Oath, Scout Law, and Outdoor Code and understand their
meaning.
Wear your full scout uniform, including belt, socks, neckerchief and
slide.
