Brian W's Master Camping/Outing Guide

Parents, please do not send or allow your child to bring a bag of sugar filled snacks to camp.   Scouts are responsible for planning their meals according to the nutrition guidelines in the scout manual.  Sending snacks full of sugar defeats the purpose of scout meal planning.  It also makes the scouts lazy, grumpy or hyper leading to a disinterest in participating in camp activities.   In addition, having snacks in the tents entices ants and animals to invade the tents.

We provide healthy and nutritious snacks at the camp.   We also keep it properly stored and out of the tents.   Your scout will NOT go hungry if they eat the meals and snacks provided at the camp.

 Thank you for your cooperation.
