Storm Water Inlet Marking Service Project

December 8, 2007

Clean Water Clear Choice

Troop 1333 Scouts and Leaders, along with Cub Scouts and Leaders from Pack 1324, marked nearly 200 storm drains in the Colony Creek Village and Memorial Chase subdivisions around Krahn Elementary.  Scouts also posted 300 door hangers to educate residents about the S.W.I.M. program and what they can do to prevent stormwater pollution.  Along their marking routes, the scouts picked up trash that could cause stormwater pollution.  For more information on how to prevent storm water pollution, check out the the Clean Water, Clear Choice website.
